Gun range rules
1. Inspect all weapons prior to use to ensure that they are properly functional and free of obstruction.

2. Inspect the target area before setting up a firing lane.
a. Ensure there are no people or animals that are in the path of fire.
b. Ensure that the backstop is still in good order.
c. Ensure that every step has been taken to reduce/eliminate the chance of person or property damage.

3. Leave all unholstered weapons unloaded until preparing to fire them.

4. No one is allowed in the target area without unloading all unholstered weapons first.
a. You may leave unholstered weapons on benches etc. but they should be unloaded with the actions open and the safety applied, if applicable.

5. A member must be present while guests are utilizing the range.
a. If the club member is in the club (drinks/food/etc..) guests may remain at the range but can not fire any firearms while club members are absent from the range.

6. Club members are responsible for the actions of their guests while utilizing the gun range.
​
7.All people using the range must sign in and out utilizing the sheets provided at the shelter, at the range.
​
8.If there are any questions of safety or the conditions of the gun range, report them immediately to bar staff/board member, and do not use the range until the issue is resolved.

9. All people using the gun range at the Wolf Creek Rod and Gun Club are responsible for their own safety. Responsibility for any damages to property or injuries sustained while utilizing the gun range fall on the person(s) using the range at that time and not the Wolf Creek Roc and Gun Club.

10. Anyone caught violating these rules are subject to disciplinary actions by the board of the Wolf Creek Rod and Gun Club up to and including expulsion from the club and/or legal action taken against the person(s) utilizing the range.

11. All state and federal firearm laws are applicable at all times. If the law says you can not possess a firearm, you may not use or carry one on our property.
